Although it is a day later than advertised, US Airways Grand Slam miles have now started to post in some Dividend Miles accounts. Mine have not yet posted, but others are reporting that some nice new miles began appearing in their accounts this morning. So far it appears that the Audience Rewards Trivia Questions are counting as a hit – that will be great if it holds true! Free and easy hits are the best kind.
I’ll write more tonight after my own miles post and I have time to sift through reports about which hits seem good to go, and which ones are causing some trouble. For those new to the Grand Slam (like me), you can’t actually see which transactions count as hits – only the total number that have counted thus far. To make things a little more tricky, you can only be certain that all of your transactions count if you have a multiple of four transactions in your account (4, 8, 12, etc…) So, if you have 14 transactions, you will only receive credit for 12 on this go-round (multiple of 4). You won’t be able to tell for sure if all 14 of your transactions are counting, or if only 12 or 13 of them are. That is why you need to stay tuned to the Milepoint and Flyertalk Grand Slam threads – or just check back here and I’ll do my best to keep you updated on which hits are counting.
My account should actually be on an multiple of four, so hopefully it will be easy to tell if all of my transactions have counted (if all were processed by some magical “cut off” time). Keep an eye on your US Airways Dividend Miles account throughout the day to see if some of your Grand Slam bonus miles start appearing. I’d love to hear how things are looking for you!
