Last Call for Some March Deadlines (Marriott, Priority Club, SPG Promo)

I should have done this post a little earlier since the Marriott deadline is just hours away, but this is final call for some miles and points related things that end within the next couple of days….or in the next couple of hours in some cases.

  • Priority Club’s award category adjustments have already gone into effect online, but if you call Priority Club (1-888-211-9874a) you can book at the old rates until 3/18, so just a couple more days left on this one.  There really is no risk with making a speculative booking since you can get the points back if you cancel (subject to the hotel cancellation policies).  Check out View From the Wing to get more information about the Priority Club award chart changes,  To read about others’ experiences getting the old chart honored, you can checkout this thread on Flyertalk.
  • March 15th is also the deadline to register for the SPG “Better by the Night” promo that awards 2x or 3x points depending on the length of your stay.  It’s a good idea to register for the promo even if you aren’t sure if you will have a stay in the next couple weeks – better to be safe than sorry.

That’s it for tonight, short and sweet.  Now hurry and don’t miss out on these deadlines.  😉

  1. Yikes, glad I specifically checked your blog (odd, the main Boarding Area seems to not be updating). I booked a Marriott rewards certificate night at Callaway Gardens (GA) about a half hour before the deadline, and yes it was going up. Thanks VERY much for the reminder.

    • @InACents, good job registering and sounds like you lucked out with SPG based on your post this morning! 😉
@dale m, so glad I was able to help you get in under the wire! BoardingArea is having some trouble right now, but you can follow the @BoardingArea Twitter feed to stay in the loop about all the posts in the meantime. Thanks for your patience and for sharing your Marriott success!
