Last night I wrote about a promo that awards 3,000 bonus Southwest Rapid Reward points if you fly to/from certain cities on Wanna Getaway or Anytime fares between now and the end of June (check out that posts for details and restrictions related to that promo).  While that is a great deal, turns out there are a couple more similar promotions from Southwest and AirTran available as well!

Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer or promotion. Rapid Rewards rules and regulations apply.

Will any of these promos help you out?  While these promos are unlikely to be useful for my family specifically, I am happy to see some progress with joint promos from AirTran and Southwest.

    • @Churnity, no I am not partaking in this deal (unless some really unexpected travel appears on my horizon), but I’m still happy to see the promo.

  1. There’s also a 3x-4x promo for Airtran points for all Airtran flights to and from ATL. Of course, it’s not clear how the Airtran points–which are earned 1 point per coach segment and 1.5 pts per business segment–are going to be converted to Rapid Rewards, but it’s worth a note for those flying Airtran. http://tickets.airtran.com/LoginPromo.aspx?promo_key=ATL032012B

Under the promo, every segment to or from ATL will earn 3 pts for coach and 6 pts for business. Considering 8 points gets you a free one-way flight, that’s not a bad promo at all.

  2. What’s the best way to find the lowest cost Business Select fares? Searching for city pairs one by one would take forever!

  3. Thanks as I do use SWA and AT.

You doing the DO in Austin? My ADK, Jr. has me doubled booked with Reggaefest. Hmmmm – DO party boat on the lake Saturday vs. Reggaefest – life is full of such tough choices. Wonder if the party boat can drop me off at Reggaefest?

    • @AlohaDaveKennedy, I am doing the Austin Do. I will be on Lake Travis that day, but on a friend’s boat. I will be joining the official DO for dinner that night at Uncle Billy’s and the next day for breakfast/lunch!
