First, congrats to David, who was the lucky poster #34 on my contest post regarding the Frequent Traveler University.  Random.org decided that his post was the big winner of a free ticket to the FTU!  He said that he wants to attend the FTU to learn about tips that aren’t posted about in the forums.  Hopefully the afternoon session that is put on by Gary, Brian, and Daraius, and designed just for that purpose, will meet his needs nicely.

Also, as Gary from View From the Wing pointed out, tickets to the Travel Executive Summit, hosted by Randy Peterson, are 50% off for members of Milepoint.  The discounted rate of $49 is a heck of a deal for lunch and an all day summit.  It is the day before the FTU, so hopefully many of you all that are headed to the FTU will get there in time to also join in on the Executive Summit.  I’ll be there for sure (even though I did buy my ticket when it was $99 – ha ha).  Essentially this discounted rate is available as the portion that was to go to charity is being covered by Milepoint, so I actually don’t feel bad that I paid $99.

David, please email me at mommypoints at hotmail.com and we can coordinate to get you officially signed-up for the Frequent Traveler University.  For anyone else that didn’t win, but is still considering going, it’s not too late.  Head to this Milepoint thread to find out more.  I’d love to see you there!
