Day 9 of the Daily Getaways takes us to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, Tunica, and St. Louis.  I got in on a fabulous package at the Mirage in Las Vegas last week, but in case you are interested in a casino getaway and missed out on the Vegas deals last week, you have another chance tomorrow.  This time it is the Harrah’s casino group that is offering various packages.  I have much more experience staying at the MGM properties than the Harrah’s properties in Vegas, but I know my parents really like Caesar’s Palace.  You can’t really beat its mid-Strip location.  Harrah’s has a pretty good location as well.  For all of the deals, someone in the room has to be 21 or over and all sales are final.  Here are the details on these packages:

The big question always is, are these good deals?  While I was obsessively all over the Vegas deals last week, frankly, none of these seem to be that great of a deal to me.  They seem like decent deals, but you can often find great deals in Vegas, so while settle for decent?  While I have been to Atlantic City once, I don’t have as much experience pricing out nights in the non-Vegas locations.  If the package includes exactly what you were hoping to do at one of these locations and the price seems good to you, then go for it.  If not, check sites like My Cheap Vegas or Smarter Vegas and other similar sites (what happened to the once awesome Fat Wallet thread?) to look for discount rooms and packages.  Do keep in mind the 10% discount if you use an Amex card.  Packages go on sale on Thursday at 1PM Eastern on the Daily Getaways website.
