Today the monthly(ish) Hyatt 48 hour sale has returned.  I have been able to save a few bucks by taking advantage of these sales in the past, but do keep in mind that reservations made using this sale are non-refundable, so be sure your plans are firm before using sale this to potentially lower your hotel cost.  Taken from the hotel website:

A little rest and relaxation can go a long way, but the opportunity to save at Hyatt hotels and resorts, Park Hyatt and Andaz hotels in the U.S., Canada, and Caribbean is only valid through 11:59 PM CDT Wednesday June 20th.For a limited time, simply book a participating Hyatt hotel or resort using offer code C48JUN beginning Tuesday June 19th and save up to 30% on a family vacation, romantic getaway, or just a holiday for you.  Offers and stay dates vary by participating hotel.  Offer ends 11:59 PM CDT Wednesday June 20th.  Give into the urge to get away, and take advantage of this exclusive 48 Hour Sale.

The sale can be used to make reservations for travel between Sunday July 1, 2012 and Sunday September 30, 2012.  It is not available at all properties or on all dates during the promotional period.  I wasn’t able to find lower rates for the plans I am 100% sure about from the beginning of July to the end of September, but perhaps some of you might have better luck.
I’d love to hear if you were able to save a few bucks using this sale!

  1. MP – Is there a list of participating properties available? In past monthly sales, a certain link always gave the list (but it seems not to be active or updated for this sale).

  2. Oh Hyatt, if you only loved me enough to put some Hyatt Place hotels in downstate Illinois I would never leave you. We could then go to great places around the world together. Just think of the possibilities along with great “hits” on US Airways. The three of us could have such a great time.

    Signed,
    Sad in STL

  3. No go for me at either of the Andaz properties in NYC. Says my days are not available under the promotion!

  4. @Bob, you are right that there usually is a list. I wasn’t able to find one this time, but that just may be poor searching on my part. If anyone has one, please feel free to share. 😉
    @DaninSTL, ha ha. Love it. I actually saw a $55 Hyatt Place and thought, hmmmmm, that is a little over 2 cents per mile with the current 5x airline promo, but it would help me get closer to Hyatt Diamond. Didn’t book it, but sure thought about it. However, I hate to be the one to share the bad news, but US Airways and Hyatt have “broken up”. ;(
    @Angelina, I haven’t yet found a list this time.
    @CodeAdam10, that stinks! Of course, that hotel might not be participating at all.
    @Dave Op, it does seem harder to find a deal this time using the sale – I’m guessing because of the summer travel season. I did find some decent deals, but none that I really need right now.
