Thanks so much to my friend, Whiskarina, for sending me a message to let me know that the Chase Visa VIP Lounge at the Olympics has added lots of events you can register for in the last day or so.  For example, you can now register to meet Olympians such as: Greg Louganis, Nadia Comaneci, Bart Conner, Summer Sanders, Dan O’Brien, Kerri Strug, and more.  These events do have limited capacity, so you need to register sooner rather than later to make sure you secure a spot.  Some of them appeared to already be full, but most are still available.  You can register up to six people for the meet and greet using one Chase Visa credit card.

I have already registered for a “Celebrity Chef Morimoto Culinary Experience” at the VIP lounge thanks to one of my Visa cards, but those events seem to already be at capacity.  You can visit the lounge even without registering (just bring your Chase Visa) and enjoy complimentary refreshments, WIFI, and watch some of the Olympic games on TV in a comfortable environment.  The lounge is open daily during the Olympics from 10AM – midnight.  I have a post launching soon with more details, but go register for one of these Olympic athlete events now if you are interested in attending.

The VIP lounge is located at 116 Pall Mall, a three minute walk from the Piccadilly Tube Station and a five minute walk from Charing Cross Station.  I fully plan on visiting the lounge at least once while in London.  I have several Chase Visa cards, but it will be the Chase Sapphire Preferred Card that makes the trip with me to London since it has no foreign transaction fees, earns Ultimate Reward points that I am obsessed with, and can get me into some free VIP lounge events where I can meet Olympians!

Morimoto is my favorite Iron Chef. You’ve got to have a great sense of humor for it to translate across the language barrier.
