Like most hotel chains, Best Western has a fall promotion out where you can earn bonus points for hotel stays.  To celebrate, they have provided a $100 Best Western Travel Card for one Mommy Points reader.  More on how to win that gift card in a moment, but first I want to point out some of the highlights of their fall promotion and rewards program.  Between September 23rd and November 18th, earn double points for your 2nd qualified stay at Best Western branded hotels, or earn triple points if your qualified stays were booked on bestwestern.com.  Bonus points only awarded for every 2nd qualified stay (e.g., 2nd, 4th 6th, 8th qualified stay).  You can also earn 1,000 bonus points when you pay for your 2 qualified stays using your Best Western Rewards MasterCard (limited to one 1,000 point bonus).

To take advantage of Best Western’s fall promotion, travelers can:

·         Join Best Western Rewards, the hotel chain’s free loyalty program, at https://goldcrownclub.bestwestern.com/

·         Register for the fall promotion online at www.bestwestern.com/fall

·         Stay at least twice between Sept. 23 and Nov. 18, 2012

Best Western usually awards 10 points per dollar spent at their hotels, and free nights start at 8,000 points per night.  You can transfer points to airline partners like US Airways and American Airlines at a rate of 5,000 points to 1,000 airline miles.

Best Western also advertizes a “Status Match, No Catch” where they will match your elite status in another hotel chain.  This would result in even more points earned!  I actually have a stash of Best Western points that were obtained in anticipation of a US Airways Grand Slam.  I am in no rush to do anything with those points since points don’t expire for North American members of Best Western Rewards.

Now that you know a bit about their program and fall promotion, here’s how to win the $100 Best Western Travel Card.  To enter to win just leave a comment on this post stating which Best Western hotel you would like to visit.  If you want some inspiration, you can view their hotels here.  I am wishing I was in the Rocky Mountains right now (beautiful this time of year and much less ragweed), so my choice would be the Best Western Plus Silver Saddle in Estes Park, Colorado.

The deadline to enter is 11:59PM Central on Thursday October 4th.  A winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.  Good luck and remember to register for the Best Western fall promotion if you think you may have a Best Western stay in your future.
