A Few Hours Left for Hyatt 48 Hour Sale

Tonight is the last night to book a Hyatt hotel and take advantage of the current Hyatt 48 Hour Sale using booking code C48OCT.  As always, these sales require prepayment and are non-refundable.  However, I am usually able to take advantage of these sales a few times a year to save some money on stays that I am certain (well, as certain as you can be with anything) will happen.  This time was no exception as I saved about $25 on a stay at a Hyatt Olive 8 in Seattle, and I also was able to book a stay I need for a “mattress run” for just $55.  In case you aren’t sure what that means – it looks like I will be about two stays short of the annual 25 stays required for Diamond status, so I went ahead and booked one stay at an inexpensive Hyatt Place within easy driving distance in Houston for $55.

I will hold off until closer to the end of the year to book any additional “mattress run” stays with Hyatt in case some “real” stays pop up.  I booked that one in November to stack promotions from the current Hyatt Possibilities promotion and the Star MegaDo 4 promotion.  To find the cheapest rates, I went to Travelocity and used the “Flexible Dates” function on Travelocity to see two months worth of rates at once.

Here are some terms regarding the 48 Hour Sale promotion:
