Right on time one of the best deals in the points world, the 5K points per night Priority Club “PointBreaks” deals, are back!  While these deals are valid through June 30th, you want to move quickly as some properties will be gone in the very near future.  You can view the full preview site here.

If you don’t have 5,000 Priority Club points you can transfer in 1:1 from Chase Ultimate Rewards.  Normally that isn’t a great idea due to how valuable UR points can be elsewhere, but in this case it can make sense.

Here is a sampling of what is available.  It says it will be live at 5PM Eastern today, but in reality folks are already booking individual hotels at the 5K PointsBreaks rate, so don’t delay if you see something you like.  This is not an exhaustive list, but just one to get you started.  I will post the full list soon.

  1. “Do you see any properties that you are excited about or that will work for your travel plans?”

Not this time. Looks pretty bland unless you already have travel plans to visit some of these locations.

  2. @Jon, to me that’s the point. I would seldom, if ever, plan travel specifically around a hotel redemption. The idea, as I see it, is to look over the list to see if any places fit into a trip you were planning to make anyway. I found one where I can get a room for 5K Priority Club points, where I was going to spend 28k Club Carlson points for a night. The switch is a no-brainer, especially since it’s only an overnight layover anyway.

  3. Doha! It makes a mileage/vacation run I’ve been contemplating far more feasible. (But not locked in yet…need to verify time off…)
