I am regularly on the Hyatt.com website for one reason or another and like many of you have had some technical difficulties with the site from time to time. Even when it is working, it is a bit of a cumbersome process to check for points availability as it is not located in the same spot as the rates. So, if you want to compare points price to the going rate (which you always should) it required several steps…until now.
Thanks to a reader for alerting me that the Hyatt site has gotten a big facelift. I haven’t yet played with all of the features, but can tell right away that they have made the process of seeing points availability much easier as it can now be displayed next to paid rates without logging in or having enough points in your account.
It’s too pretty of a Saturday here to stay in and play with the site too much today, but I did want to share the good news that it is a bit more user friendly – at least in terms of points availability.
Have you used the new site? What do you think?
