Family Travel Presentation at Frequent Traveler University

Last weekend I conducted a session with Ed from Pizza in Motion on various Family Travel issues at the Frequent Traveler University.  Some of those issues we covered had to do with earning and redeeming points/miles for multiple people, some were related to tips to get rooms large enough for a family, and some were related to the logistics of traveling with small children (gear, lap infant tickets, where to sit, and more).

Thanks to the FTU Facebook Page for the photos!

I have had several requests for a copy of the presentation slides, so I am happy to share them here.  I do put a fair amount of text to the slides, so they should give you a decent idea of what was discussed, but of course it isn’t the same as actually being in the session. Most of the requests for a copy of the presentation from those who were there, so at the very least this might be a help to them.   For everyone else who missed the presentation that went along with the slides, feel free to ask questions or come join in the fun at the next Frequent Traveler University in Tampa September 27th – 29th.

Thanks again to everyone who came out to the event in DC!

  1. I would love a copy too. I was not there but will be at the Chicago seminars in Oct. By the way, I believe you’re in CHi this weekend. Enjoy!

  2. Blue, there is a link at the bottom of the post (hopefully it is working on your end – it is on mind). I am in ChiTown this weekend – very fun!
    Fishing4Deals, thank. 😉
Melissa, same here. Please say hi!

    • Raider, they are common property states – and that can relate to the income you are reporting on a credit card application. However this is returning to a non-issue soon since the CARD act is being changed to include household income for spouses. Yay!

  3. Any recommendation for kid’s headphone?
I was thinking of a bluetooth headphone, since there is no cord to distract my son. But there’s none.
What kind does little c use?
    Thanks a lot.

    • key, we got ours at Target and my main recommendations are fairly just padded on the ears, the right size for their head, and not overly expensive. I don’t remember the brand we have, but they were about $20 with blue padding from Target.
