Chase May Have Something Cool Coming Next Week

I’m in Mexico for a wedding with very, very limited internet (strange blessing and curse!), but there are some very brief updates I want to share before totally logging off.

Mostly, I would not personally apply for the Ink cards today or tomorrow.  I know that is strange to say, but I would hold off as it seems Chase may have something up their sleeve to celebrate Small Business Week next week.  Earlier today I saw on their site where it said “Special offers will be available on Ink Cash, Ink Classic, Ink Bold, and Ink Plus when you apply between June 16th – June 22nd.”  I don’t know exactly what that will mean, but it sure has my interest!  The sign-up bonuses for the Ink cards are already really solid, but it is very exciting to think they may be even better in some way next week.  Plan accordingly and stay tuned!  Thanks to View From the Wing for sharing that info.

Also, I mentioned it here, but the Southwest business and personal cards are all back up to the 50,000 point level after spending $2,000 in the first three months.  They do carry annual fees the first year, but are well worth it if you fly Southwest and/or AirTran.  Remember that many folks have success getting two in a calendar year and thus can get close to scoring a Companion Pass.  You can see the details for the Southwest offers here and read about the Companion Pass here.

Hope you all have a great Friday evening and stay tuned for any Chase updates!  Just for fun, any guesses on what they may be planning for next week?

  1. Hi Mommypoints,

I was getting ready to apply for a new CC this coming week anyway, so this is helpful info. I do have a small side business ( speech therapy/tutor). However, as a tutor, I don’t really have many expenses – just some gas and an occasional book or therapy tool.

Do all the purchases on a business credit card have to be for the business?

I’m just not sure if I could meet the minimum spend. Thanks for any help you can provide.

  2. Oooh…my procrastination on signing up for one of these cards might pay off! Thanks for the heads-up. 🙂

  3. I made out like a bandit when they had the buy.com 20x deal.

bought stuff to sell in our retail store and racked up over 20k miles.

I hope they bring that promotion back again.
