First, thank you for your patience this weekend while my site (and all of BoardingArea) moved hosts/servers/planets/something and underwent some maintenance.  Now we are back in action and ready to play catch-up on what was going on the last few days while we spent the weekend swimming!

  • The Hyatt and MGM partnership is now live.  If you want to earn Hyatt stay credit plus 5 Hyatt points per dollar spent for your stay and eligible room charges at M Life participating hotels in Vegas such as Bellagio, Aria, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Vdara, The Signature at MGM Grand, Mirage, Monte Carlo, Luxor, New York-New York, and Excalibur then simply ensure you are a member of both Hyatt Gold Passport and M Life and book your hotel room via Hyatt or directly with the M Life hotels themselves.  Then tell the agent at check-in that you want to earn Hyatt points, and provide your Hyatt Gold Passport number.  You can read this post for more details about this new partnership.
  • The Ink cards increased sign-up bonuses were extended through tomorrow (Monday)!  If you are waiting until the last minute to apply it looks like you are in luck.  I don’t know how far into Monday the links will still be active, but they are still active as of right now.  You can read about the offer and access the links in this post.  Congrats to all of you who got in on that temporary offer!
  • While we are on the topic of credit cards, there is an increased offer for the Delta Business Platinum Amex that comes with 25,000 bonus miles (5,000 of which count as MQMs) after first purchase and 30, 000 bonus miles (15,000 of which count as MQMs) after $5,000 in eligible spend in first three months of card membership.  There is a $150 annual fee for this card.  Head to Rapid Travel Chai for more info.
  • The Week 4 Daily Getaways are out and they include the much anticipated Wyndham Reward points, however at a higher price than last year.  You can head to the Daily Getaways site to check out the deals for yourself now.  Expect a post here with all the details in the next day or so.

  1. Looks like Wyndham points are over double the rate of last year’s sale! Even factoring the AmEx 10% discount, this is like paying 1.35 cents per airline mile. Not worth it.

  2. @MP, the week 4 deals look interesting, especially the hotel points on Monday and Tuesday. Are you going to write up a review of those offers?
