Priority Club Mommy Points

Deal Analysis:

As with all points purchase packages, you need to have a redemption plan before you even consider buying points.  To give you an idea of what is available, here are a few examples of properties and their redemption rates with the approximate points cost equivalent in parenthesis.

Staybridge Suites Time Square NYC: 35,000 points ($199)

Holiday Inn Summit County Frisco: 25,000 points ($145)

Crowne Plaza Orlando Downtown: 20,000 points ($116)

Intercontinental Bali Resort: 35,000 points ($199)

London Mayfair: 35,000 points ($199)

Crowne Plaza Rome St. Peters: 30,000 points ($174)

As you can likely tell, some of these prices are quite fair, though not necessarily door busters.  I recommend doing your homework to make sure that purchasing these points will result in savings – in some cases it will result in moderate savings.  If you are able to use the points for the 5,000 points per night PointBreaks then you are getting a great deal.  Also keep in mind that you can get Priority Club points pretty easily for .7 cents each on an ongoing basis.

These packages go on sale Friday at 1PM Eastern on the Daily Getaways website.

    • Ha – I do have a hard time figuring out how to best convey the amount when it is a number like that! Decimals and lots of zeros seem to often lead to confusion – hopefully the way it is currently listed makes sense to most. If not, it is just over half a cent per point.

  1. It was easy to pick up 2 x 100,000. I tried it add more after my purchase and it allowed me to place it in my cart. Maybe they sold more than 2,000. I am stocked up and ready for the year. Thanks for the info!

  2. Are you a buyer? I was just about to hit buy but compared to C+P trick at 0.7/point feel like I’d rather not buy points now for a trip that may not happen for a year or more. If I did I’d just buy 25K or so…

    • Jeremy, I’m not a buyer as I have some PC points already and could buy more at .7 cents each if needed. Only recommend for those who have specific redemptions in mind that aren’t so far out as to risk devaluation.

  3. Thanks for responding and making me pause. I doubt they’d turn off the P&C Trick…so I’ll just stick with that whenever I need the points! I have 100K or so already so I’m ok for now.
