Today’s Daily Getaway deal is an exact repeat of what was available on Friday – Priority Club points. I’m doing a virtual re-post of Friday’s info about the deal in case anyone missed it and wants in on the deal today. If you are new to the Daily Getaways, they are daily deals for five weeks on discounted hotel stays, discounted points purchases, car rental deals, and more. The travel packages are provided by U.S. Travel Association, in cooperation with participating travel operators of the U.S. Travel Association and advertising support provided by American Express. To get an additional 10% off savings you must pay with any American Express card. Daily Getaways are only open to those who are US residents ages 18 and up (though some packages are for 21+ or even 25+). Here is a link to tips for successfully purchasing these limited quantity deals.
15,000 Priority Club/IHG Reward Club points for $100 ($90 with 10% Amex discount). 2500 available, max purchase of five. (.6 cents each)
25,000 Priority Club/IHG Reward Club points for $167 ($150.30 with 10% Amex discount). 2000 available, max purchase of four. (.59 cents each)
50,000 Priority Club/IHG Reward Club points for $325 ($292.50 with 10% Amex discount). 1250 available, max purchase of four.

- A maximum of 16 packages of points is allowed per loyalty number across all IHG offers.
- Within 10 business days of purchase, you will have the IHG Rewards Club points deposited into the IHG Rewards Club account provided at time of purchase, to be used however you choose.
- Points never expire.
- No blackout dates for Reward Nights.
- Free nights range from 5,000 – 50,000 points per night
As with all points purchase packages, you need to have a redemption plan before you even consider buying points. To give you an idea of what is available, here are a few examples of properties and their redemption rates with the approximate points cost equivalent in parenthesis.
Staybridge Suites Time Square NYC: 35,000 points ($199)
Holiday Inn Summit County Frisco: 25,000 points ($145)
Crowne Plaza Orlando Downtown: 20,000 points ($116)
Intercontinental Bali Resort: 35,000 points ($199)
London Mayfair: 35,000 points ($199)
Crowne Plaza Rome St. Peters: 30,000 points ($174)
As you can likely tell, some of these prices are quite fair, though not necessarily door busters. I recommend doing your homework to make sure that purchasing these points will result in savings – in some cases it will result in moderate savings. If you are able to use the points for the 5,000 points per night PointBreaks then you are getting a great deal. Also keep in mind that you can get Priority Club points pretty easily for .7 cents each on an ongoing basis.
These packages go on sale Monday at 1PM Eastern on the Daily Getaways website (though it appears some packages are available still from Friday’s similar sale so you could just pull the trigger on one of those now.
