As you hopefully already know, US Airways leaves Star Alliance on March 30th (Sunday) and joins OneWorld Alliance on March 31st (Monday). Registration is listed to begin on March 31, 2014 (though it seemed to let me register today) and will end on June 30, 2014. Registration may occur at any point during the eligible activity period to qualify. Bonus miles do not count toward Dividend Miles Preferred status.

Personal Flight Goal Listed for American Airlines Facebook Promo:
On a semi-related note, my personalized offer for earning miles by flying via the American Airlines Facebook promo that awards around 1,000 free AA miles for completing some games and answering questions online is now available. I personally need to earn 1,200 elite qualifying points via AA between March 21 to May 23, 2014 to earn 2,500 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles via this promo. I don’t anticipate any travel on US Airways or AA during that time, but if I did then presumably I would have to pick between these two promos as you can’t credit a flight to both AA and US at the same time.
Remember to take advantage of the last few days that US Airways in in Star Alliance by making any related bookings in the next couple days! Thanks to The Points Guy for sharing news of this promotion.
