Low-cost carrier WOW Air has some seriously wow prices right now as they are set to launch service from US destinations Boston and Washington DC (actually BWI) to Reykjavik.  If you don’t want to go to Iceland (and what is wrong with you?), then this can still be super interesting because you can continue on to Europe.

These prices will not last, but right now are as hot as Washington DC (actually BWI) – London (via Reykjavik) for $99 USD one-way.  That is an all-in real price including taxes.  You can seriously fly from the United States to London for less than $100 one-way with no miles required!  Getting back from London does cost a bit more, largely due to taxes.  Taxes on flights back from Iceland are a good bit less.

Wow Air Low Prices

Hurry if you want in on this from Baltimore or Boston to Iceland or on to London – Gatwick or Copenhagen because the lowest prices will not last.  The only way I found the prices was to check dates one at a time, but it didn’t take too long to find an available date, so they are still there.   The flights from Boston start in March 2015 and the flights in from Baltimore (which they call Washington DC) start in June 2015.

Cheap flight to london

This is a low-cost carrier, so be ready to pay extra for everything from larger carry-ons, to checked bags, to seat assignments, etc.  However, if you don’t care what your seat is and can pack (very) light for your trip, then you really can get there for less than $100 USD!

Thanks to The Flight Deal and The Points Guy for sharing these wow prices…okay, I’ll stop with the bad puns!

  1. Thank you so much for posting! London is one of the few international destinations I can get my husband to travel to that isn’t associated with relaxing on a beach. It is always impossible to find a cheap flight back out of London because of their crazy taxes, so $150 pp for a return flight is perfect for a nice anniversary weekend trip. Now to just book an award flight to get us there. Thank you again!!

  2. Live in DC and just booked the BWI-Iceland round trip for my family for August! This was definitely on our “to do” list of destinations!

    • Lyssa, I have heard nothing but great things about Iceland (well, other than some crazy prices for food and such). Looks beautiful though!

  3. Wondering about booking a trip to Iceland for my wife and I and our 2yo with this deal. Looks like there are heavy fees and restrictions on luggage and whatnot – do we know if strollers etc carry those fees as well, or are they exempt?

  4. Jumped on this one. We’ll be spending a long weekend in Iceland in October 2015! BWI-KEF RT for $293.

So glad to be able to take advantage of a great fare. Live near DC, so we don’t even need a positioning flight!
