JetBlue wasn’t the only airline having pretty great sales today, Frontier is also offering flights starting at $19 that are worth a look.  Frontier is a no-frills-charge-for-everything airline, but with prices starting at $19 each way, who really cares if your on-board soda isn’t free….

Part of the sale are $19 and $29 fares to celebrate new routes from:

  • Atlanta to Austin, Indianapolis, and Miami
  • Washington Dulles to Austin
  • Indianapolis – Miami

Frontier New Market Sale

The other part of this sale is a $39+ sale on various routes.  The sale that offers flights for $19 and $29 ends tonight at 11:59 pm Eastern time (Jan. 21, 2015), and the other sale runs through January 23rd.  The fares are valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, March 6, 2015 through April 15, 2015 and do not require round trip purchases.

I noticed in some searches that while the $19 route will be offered one direction, the other direction may not have fares quite as low.  Still, the $19 flights do exist, and that is insane!  I also like that depending on when your district offers spring break, some of the fares may even work for that week when the kids are off from school!

If you put these charges on your Barclaycard Arrival Plus™ World Elite MasterCard® you can use those points to pay for this crazy cheap airfare, but just remember that the charge has to be for at least $25 to use points to reimburse yourself for the purchase.

  1. My major beef with Frontier Airlines is that one need to wait until 24 hour before the flight before paying for a check bag. I’m flying Frontier from Philly to Tampa @$39 on 2/2 and then from Orlando back to St. Louis @$59 on 2/10.
