One of the things we used to do on trips when my daughter was still in diapers was to have a box of diapers shipped to the destination ahead of time. This ensured we had the brand we wanted ready to go without wasting a ton of space in our bags. Normally this was to places like Grandma’s house, but it can sometimes be done to hotels as well (just be sure to contact the hotel ahead of time to work out the details and make sure there aren’t nasty fees). When I saw The Deal Mommy’s post today about getting a $10 Amazon Gift Card with purchase of a box Pampers (the kind we used when we weren’t using cloth diapers), I immediately thought back to the days of shipping a box of diapers ahead of time. I then also remember that holy smokes we will be doing that again in a few months, and diapers cost how much??!
If you are in the diaper phase as we are about to be again, and Pampers is your brand of choice, then you can take advantage of $10 Amazon Gift Card promo with the purchase of one box of Pampers via Amazon.com. Because I have totally forgotten what diapers cost, I did some price comparing to Walmart.com and these prices absolutely come out ahead with the $10 gift card. If you know of an even cheaper way to get Pampers let me know because I’ll need them soon. There is a limit of one per customer, and it won’t stack with the Subscribe and Save discount if you participate in that program.
While we are on the topic, remember you can also buy Amazon.com gift cards at grocery stores and office supply stores with your rewards credit cards to earn bonus points in those store categories, then load those gift cards to your Amazon.com account to get good deals like this one and rack up miles and points.
Maybe I should go ahead and buy a box to start stocking up for the summer time….gulp!
