Several months ago it was announced that American Express would no longer be the issuer of Costco credit cards beginning next year, but today it was announced that American Express cards are now accepted at the Sam’s Club stores in the US and Puerto Rico. They were already accepted at the Sam’s Club online site as anyone who took advantage of this offer knew.
That is useful info for all of us with credit cards to have, but the even better news for those that want a Sam’s Club membership is that American Express is providing a special offer to eligible card members from October 1-31. Card Members can receive a one-time $25 statement credit after they use an enrolled, eligible American Express Card to spend $45 or more on a new Sam’s Club membership in-store.
To learn more about the terms of the offer, including how to enroll, head here. Or, you can just head to your online Amex account and add it to your card under the “Offers for You” section.
If you wanted to buy a Sam’s Club Membership in the near term, this is a way to save $25 on that on that $45 purchase!
