New Bonuses from American Airlines and Southwest for Online Shopping!

Please note this site has financial relationships with American Express and this post may contain affiliate links. Read my Advertiser Disclosure policy here to learn more about my partners.

Just as the United MileagePlus and Alaska shopping portals have done before them, now the Southwest Rapid Rewards Shopping and American Airlines Shopping sites have back to school mileage bonuses awarded based on your cumulative purchase totals over the next few weeks! As always, these bonuses are awarded whether you are buying backpacks or bedsheets, so these bonuses aren’t just reserved for school aged families.

These bonus miles are awarded on top of whatever miles you earn at your retailer of choice, as well as on top of whatever points, miles, or cash back are awarded by your rewards credit card of choice. You can even stack Amex Offers savings on top of these bonuses!

  1. You have so many ad’s on this page, I cannot tell which are a part of your blog story, and which are just advertisements. Right in the middle of this particular one, you have a Barclaycard that talks about 40k bonus miles. Is this related? Is this united? Is it Southwest? American? I see wording all around the story for all three airlines.

    • Michael, sorry if it is confusing. The post is about bonuses from the American and Southwest shopping portal. There is one ad in the article, which as you state is for a Barclaycard. Apologies if the ad is distracting or confusing.
