Most of us who share this miles and points hobby are very blessed to be able to experience this nation and this world in ways that others couldn’t even dream of. I know that lots of people who love to travel are also very generous and love to lend a hand to others in need. There is always need, and right now is no exception with the impact of Hurricane Matthew in the Caribbean and the southeastern United States.
In case you can benefit from a little extra encouragement in the form of some airlines miles to get you to whip out a credit card to help someone in need, here are some current promotions that will reward you with miles for your generous donations.
United MileagePlus members who donate a minimum of $50 to the American Red Cross, AIRLINK, Americares, or Operation USA will receive bonus miles for their donations through October 21, 2016.

- Donations of $100- $249 USD will receive 500 bonus award miles
