While I usually use the various airline shopping sites to earn airline miles for my online purchases, with some increasing frequency I also use the popular cash back sites such as TopCashBack and Ebates. Sometimes the cash back percentage is better than what the airline mile sites are providing, or sometimes the retailer I want is only available via a cash back site.

Even if you don’t use the cash back sites frequently, you should use them at least once when the new customer bonus is better than normal. Today is one of those days for TopCashBack.

Free $10 Darden/Olive Garden Gift Card for New TopCashBack Members

If you are new to the TopCashBack site, you can click through their site to purchase a $10 emailed or mail delivered gift card from the Darden family of restaurants, which covers Olive Garden, Bahama Breeze, Red Lobster, Eddie V’s, Capital Grille, and more. You will then ultimately have $10 deposited in your TopCashBack account after you make the purchase, making it effectively free. You can then transfer that $10 in your account to PayPal or cash it in for an Amazon or American Express gift card and actually make a few cents with the 3% bonus those cash out options provide.

Here are the steps for getting the $10 back with purchase of $10 Darden gift card offer:

  • Click the “Get Offer Now” button on this page to go to the Gift Card Mall website.
  • Purchase a Mail Delivered or Emailed $10.00 Darden Gift Card.
  • Shortly after you’ve made your purchase, you should see the transaction in your TopCashback account.
  • Once confirmed, your transaction will become payable within 21 days.

You must purchase only the one $10 Darden gift card in your transaction in order for it to qualify for the $10 back. You also shouldn’t delay as this is only supposed to run until February 2nd, but could end earlier.

Comments

  1. It’s dead now. The $10 Darden card just disappeared from the website, which according to the terms and conditions means the deal is over as inventory has run out.

    • Pat, I just tested a $10 e-gift card and it is still on the Darden site just fine – you have to manually type in that amount. Give it another try and let me know.

  2. I wonder if it’s dead now. I’m on my iPhone and clicked all the way through to purchase, but when I try to purchase the screen bounces back to the beginning. No conf #, no charge on my credit card.
