HILTON AMEX OFFERS REFERENCED BELOW ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE

I’ll keep this short and sweet, but if you have been procrastinating on getting the temporarily increased Hilton Amex Card offers then know that today is the deadline. Even if Hilton isn’t your primary loyalty program, it can be very handy to have some Hilton points in your back pocket to use when you need them. Remember that via the offer ending today, the Surpass card not only awards more sign-up bonus points than normal, but also awards a valuable weekend anniversary night on the first cardmember anniversary. I don’t know what time the offers will end today, but I wouldn’t bet on them lasting through the entire day.

      • hmmm I didn’t understand what you meant by SkyMiles – that shows you how much a points and miles newbie I am. So i guess you’re referring to transferring HHonors pionts to Delta later on? Is that your preferred strategy?
Also question: do you know if there’s an expiration date for the 100K pionts? Will they go away if I don’t have any movement on my account for 12 months? Thanks again!

        • Sorry – typo! Oops! Thinking two things at once – meant points! Yes, you need movement at least once every 12 months. Just periodically using your Hilton card will work to earn and keep the points active.

  1. Used your link this morning to apply for the Surpass, thanks. I’ve had the Hilton Amex card for 10 years and Amex offered a free upgrade to the Surpass with 100k point bonus, but it didn’t include the free weekend award night (on the first anniversary), which could be worth a lot.

    Happy living/travels!

    • Luke, aw thanks and enjoy the points and the anniversary award night – you are 100% right that there is a lot of value to be had there.

  2. Used your links to apply for 4 cards between myself and extended family before the offer expired. Hoping to use the points for a couple of nights in Europe this fall! 🙂
