As I am sure you know, the big eclipse is on Monday, and there are plenty of folks all around the country traveling right now to the line of totality. Weather may impact the viewing party in some locations, but I’m pretty sure the eclipse will come and go whether we use our cool looking eye protection gear and look up at it or not.
However, JetBlue isn’t so sure. They don’t believe in blackout dates when using their TrueBlue points for award flights, so they have decided they don’t believe in the blackout caused by the solar eclipse either…or something like that. I’m not sure I totally follow, but I do understand that if you RSVP “Going” on Facebook for their No Blackout, Non Eclipse, Non Event Event then you can have a shot at winning 100,000 JetBlue TrueBlue points among other non-party favors.
The value of 100,000 JetBlue points varies based on how you redeem, but it is easily well over $1,000 worth of JetBlue travel, so I’m in for the non-event event. No purchase necessary to enter, must be 18+ to win. Visit http://bit.ly/2w7VVSI for sweepstakes rules.
See you at the virtual non-blacked out non-event, or something. And if you are traveling to the actual real eclipse like some of my family is I would love to hear how that is going!
