This time of the year, expenses go up and I am more than happy to take discounts or extra points wherever I can find them. One of the easy ways to save on purchases or earn extra points at pretty popular retailers, even those within the travel world, is via Amex Offers. You never know when good Amex Offers will pop up on one of your Amex accounts. The only sure-fire way to know exactly what offers are available to you is to log-in to your online account and take a look (process outlined below), but to save you a little time I want to highlight a few new Amex Offers that are available on many Amex cards at Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Starbucks, Etsy, Gap, Doubletree, and so much more.

SimplyCash® Plus Business Credit Card from American Express

How Amex Offers Work:

For those not familiar, Amex Offers are available on your various American Express cards, even those with no annual fee such as The Amex EveryDay® Credit Card and Blue Cash Everyday® Card. You must load the individual offers that interest you to your card(s) and then use that card for the purchase to trigger the associated bonus points or statement credits.

amex-offers-jpg

Once you load the offer to your card you don’t typically need any coupons or codes at checkout, and you can stack the savings with any other sales or coupons you may have for your purchases with various retailers. You can add the offers to your Amex cards in your online Amex account by logging in and then scrolling down to where the offers are listed.

If you want to add an offer to more than one Amex card you need to have it loaded and ready to add to each individual Amex card in separate windows before adding it to any card. If you don’t, you will only be able to add it to one card. Due to some recent changes, the offers may also not display online on the other cards once you have used it on one card, but if you use the Amex app to view your offers they are indeed still there and available on all the cards you added them to initially. Sometimes you can also tweet a certain hashtag if you have synced your Amex for the Twitter offers. You can view some of the offers available on Twitter here. The offers I share not necessarily available on every Amex card or account, so the ones you have access to may vary.

  1. Well, if Amex wants to know why I stopped using any of my 6 credit cards I have with them they have the answer. I am never targeted for any interesting offer. All I get are stupid offers on places I would never spend my money. Not a single travel related offer. In the meantime Chase is getting all my business. Way to go Amex!!!!!

    • These are the offers I always get from Amex: Teleflora (I don’t buy flowers online or over the phone), PetCo (I don’t own a pet), Rover (again, no pets here), Martha Stewart Wine (the last place I would by wine), Blink Fitness (they don’t even have one where I live), Levi’s (definitely not my style), etc… As you can see they should fire their Marketing department if they think they are targeting the right audience with these offers. On the other hand, I already spent well over $50k on Delta this year and that offer was not on any of my cards.

        That’s probably why:)
