Use Iberia Avios to Book American Airlines Award Flights for Less

A few days ago I wrote a bit about using Iberia Avios to fly from certain cities in the US to Madrid in business class for as low as 25,500 Iberia Avios + taxes/fees via a promotion that is going on through April 11th. That deal is related to flying Iberia operated flights, but Iberia Avios can be used very wisely to fly on partner airlines, such as American Airlines, much closer to home.   Use Iberia Avios to Book American…

Fly Business Class to Europe from 25,500 Points + Taxes/Fees!

Thanks to a 25th anniversary award sale by Iberia that knocks 25% off of the regular award prices, you can fly from the US to Europe in business class on Iberia from just 25,500 Avios + about $93.27! I know, I felt a pang of sadness, too, literally because I was too tired yesterday to firm up one final booking. But, since the world still turns just as it did before, and most of us will still want to fly around…

Surprisingly Good Airline Transfer Bonus

As you may or may not know British Airways isn’t the only airline to use Avios as their mileage currency. Another airline frequent flyer program that also uses Avios is Iberia, an airline based out of Spain. Not only do they call their mileage currency Avios, but you can transfer Avios between British Airways and Iberia’s Avios programs. There are some caveats to that, including that you must have had your accounts open for at least 90 days, and there must…
