The Grinch Ate My Post and Comments, Too!

As you may, or may not have noticed, the Christmas Grinch seems to have eaten any posts and/or comments made on a BoardingArea blog on December 24th.  The post that got eaten was about a 90% code that expired on the 24th, so that isn’t a huge loss, though there is a code that is almost as good that is available today, 12/25.  The code today is “MERRY”.  As I mentioned in the post that disappeared, it is great to not only use those in your home town, but to stock up on a few at restaurants you want to try in towns you are going to visit in the upcoming months.  I personally stocked up on some for when we are in Vegas next year.  Be sure you earn some points or a cash rebate if you do buy from  I personally prefer the Chase Ultimate Rewards portal that gives 20x bonus points per dollar, but there are multiple shopping portal options available.  You can check out some of the available options at

I’m much more bummed that some of the extremely nice and touching comments from the $23,000 Flight That Earned No Miles post disappeared.  However, rest assured that I did read all of them before they disappeared and very much appreciate each and every one of them.  I know that post wasn’t a typical miles and points post, but it was still an important one for me to share.  If nothing else, it gives some back story into one of the reasons why miles and points are so important for me and my family.

So, apologies for those who left comments that are now gone and congrats to those who got in on the 90% off deal yesterday!
