Daily Getaways Day 4 (Thursday): CityPass

I’m not sure I set out to post about each Daily Getaway deal individually, but it seems silly to stop now, so I’m going to continue to try to post about each Daily Getaway deal, even the ones that I don’t think are so hot….like this one.  This deal is for a CityPass in five different cities in the US.  While I think that CityPass can be a great way to see many attractions in a city for one set price (though with young children, it may be an overly ambitious endeavor unless you have a lot of time in the city), the price for these deals isn’t any better than what is available directly from CityPass.  With the 10% Amex discount, you can save some money over the regular price, but otherwise it is pretty much a wash.

Here are some terms that apply to all of the CityPass deals for sale tomorrow:

  • Valid anytime through February 28, 2014
  • Max Quantity per individual purchase: 4
  • Children’s passes sold separately at CityPASS.com.
  • Ticket booklets are valid for nine (9) consecutive days; the validity period begins on the day of first use.
  • No refunds, but booklets are transferable.
  • From 100 – 200 booklets in each city are available.
  • The sale starts at 1PM Eastern at the Daily Getaways website.

  1. @IPBrian, totally agree. I guess with five weeks of deals you are going to have some lackluster ones sprinkled in somewhere.
