Free American Airlines Admiral’s Club Pass With 55+ Klout Score

I just scored a free Admirals Club (airport lounge) pass valid through July 31st thanks to my “Klout Score”. Your Klout Score measures your social media importance, connectedness, influence, or something like that. I’m sure I should have a better explanation as a blogger, but that’s all I got. My Klout score was a 58 and that scored me a pass that I immediately was able to print.  Update: seems you may need a Klout score of at least 55 to get the free pass.  Lower than that and you get $50 off an annual membership.  If you rarely use your social media accounts, you will not have a Klout score of 55 unfortunately.

I’m not sure what the minimum required score is, but you can give it a shot if you want a free AAdmiral’s club pass. I think airline lounges are great for traveling families and several Admirals’ Clubs even have family rooms.

    • Elena, boo! Thanks for sharing though. I wonder what the threshold is. Hoping for more reports so we can figure it out.

  1. I tried it out. My Klout score is only 45. I got a $50 discount on a yearly membership. I have no idea what the regular price is, but at least it’s something.

  2. Uncomfortable giving away info associated with my facebook.

With my twitter and its 8 followers I got a score of 17

  3. I just got a Klout score of 4. Although I didn’t win a free Admiral’s Club pass, this makes me feel TERRIFIC! I’d much rather be out there enjoying the world than twittering on somebody’s face.

    • Andy O, ha ha! I think you deserve a prize for that. Let me know if you can use this AA lounge pass before 7/31 and I will email it to you. 😉

  4. Rich, missed that one though “Max” likes to go by several names with quite interesting remarks around these parts from time to time. Ha! Still I like to put a smile on as many faces as possible so free UA pass to Max if he wants it! ;). Thanks for pointing that out!

  5. Yes, Max deserves credit for the lowest score so feel free to give it to him. I appreciate the offer though. Andy

  6. Wow!!! I am shocked that so many people are willing to give them access to so much personal information… which is exactly why companies do things like this.

  7. Please give this pass to Andy O. I won’t be passing by any airport lounges before 7/31. Congrats to Andy though for also having such a ridiculously low score.

  8. Finally got through. My score was only 21. I’m not surprised. That is my favourite number. It follows me everywhere. My son was even born on the 21st. 🙂 Well…maybe I will win the free year membership

  9. @Jeanne Toulon: if you can’t use it, I’d be happy to take it off your hands as I’m traveling with a toddler in July! Thanks!

  10. Thanks! I had a score of 52 the other day and it didn’t work, but my score was upped today to 59 so I tried again and it worked! So if you get a bump in score make sure to go back and try again!
