CityPASS deals can be pretty good if you were planning on visiting the majority of those attractions on your trip.  However, as you have likely noticed by this point, the prices available via the Daily Getaways site are the same as on the CityPASS website.  The only discount is the 10% available if you pay with an Amex card.  Child tickets are not available via the Daily Getaway sale.  Unless you are 100% certain you will use the CityPASS you are interested in, and you are using an Amex for 10% off, I don’t see a huge incentive to buy via Daily Getaways vs from the regular CityPASS site.

These deals go on sale Wednesday at 1PM Eastern on the Daily Getaways website.  Will you be purchasing any CityPASS deals?

  1. @Daninstl +1

The last two years I’ve been frustrated that I couldn’t get anything at all. This year I’ve yet to see anything I’d go for even if success was automatic. I note those pathetic Marriott Ultimate and Premier certs just sat there. No wonder since I priced some of the properties listed as qualifying as available at half the price of the certs. 🙁

  2. I actually got three of the SF ones. No it isn’t a fantastic deal, but we have a family trip planned (Hyatt points already booked) and all of the stuff on the pass was on our to-do list anyway. Sometimes Costco has a better deal on these sorts of passes, but the other GO pass over there was not structured quite as well. Hopefully it will be for the best…every little bit of savings helps.

  3. Dan, ha ha.
Robert, let’s hope good deals are still to come!
Heather, too bad! Have fun in Chicago!
Choochmac, absolutely. Well done and have a great trip!
