One Week: 500 Extra Miles for PointsHound Hotel Bookings

About a month ago I wrote about the hotel booking site, PointsHound.  You can get all the details here, but essentially they are a hotel booking site that will give you bonus airline miles with airlines such as United, Virgin America, Delta, American, US Airways, or Hawaiian for your bookings.  If you book one of their “Double Up” rates then you can also be sure you will earn hotel points and elite status stay credit with Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, Starwood, or Marriott for your stay.  In theory it can mean the best of both worlds.

PointsHound Bonus Points Mommy Points

The good news is that in addition to the regular airlines miles you can earn, through the end of June when you book with PointsHound you can earn an additional 500 miles per trip!  If you are new to PointsHound then you can also earn 500 miles when you complete your first stay by signing up with my link (all miles go to you, I get nothing for you using my link).

They do have a Price Guarantee, so you should be able to get a good price, hotel credit/points, and airline miles for your hotel stay.  Of course if you book with discounted corporate codes or similar then you may be better served not using PointsHound.

If you have used them before I’d love to hear how it went!

  1. for the following statement “through the end of June when you book with PointsHound you can earn an additional 500 miles per trip”, does this mean only the reservation need to be made before end of June?

Or does that mean the stay also needs to be completed by end of June?
