Video Review of the Andaz Maui at Wailea

I will begin posting my written (detailed) reviews of the Andaz Maui at Wailea in the morning.  I’m not sure how many posts there will be on the new hotel quite yet, but I know there will be several.  The first one to run tomorrow will focus primarily on the room and suite, but if you want a peek at the hotel now, here is our video review and overview of the property.  A good chunk of the video is dedicated to a look at the Andaz Suite!

If detailed written reviews work better for you better than a video review then just hold tight and the good stuff will start rolling tomorrow.  For everyone who wants a little peek now, enjoy!

  1. Great video review and congrats on the anniversary.

“unfortunately without alcoholic beverages” – totally agree with you on that one.

Beach looks great! I’m torn, I think the resort grounds look great, but I may be partial to the Ritz up at Kapalua. Of course, the complimentary Diamond breakfast will have a big influence on my decision.

  2. What a gorgeous property. I can hardly wait to stay here! Since I started collecting points and miles, so far we’ve stayed at the St. Regis Princeville and the Grand Wailea..the Andaz Maui looks like it is more my style than either of those. Yay!

  3. Update directly from Andaz Maui: they have garden view and ocean view ADA rooms and “We do have one Andaz Suite that is adapted for wheelchair accessibility and we also have one Premier suite that can be setup for wheelchair accessibility.”

  4. Does the Andaz have an arrivals/departures lounge for those arriving early or with flights leaving Maui later in the day? I saw this mentioned in some early promo but not since and not on any trip advisor reviews.

  5. Thanks guys for the nice words about the video review! Doing these is such a different process than written reviews, so glad to hear some of you like them. 😉
Lynn, I’m not sure. Will have to check on that.
Hutch, it wasn’t during the “real” games. We would never do that!
