Giving Thanks

I hope all of you are having a fantastic Thanksgiving whether you traveled to be with family, had them travel to you, traveled as far away from them as you could get, or are simply enjoying a quiet day at home.  We will be taking the day to host family members, eat turkey, watch parades and football (in that order), enjoy our time together, and most importantly, give thanks.

Our family has many things to be thankful for this year, not the least of which is all of you.  Thank you to everyone who reads our posts, supports our site, or even simply challenges us to do better.  We are thankful to all of you, as well as all the amazing opportunities miles and points have brought us in the last year.  From Ireland to Kauai to Japan to Colorado to the Caribbean, we have plenty to be thankful for both on our travels, and in our own backyard.

Even Little C is in on the simple, but powerful, gesture of giving thanks…in her own three year old way.   We will return to our regularly scheduled Black Friday travel deal posts after the turkey digests, but for now, thank you.

  1. Thank YOU, Summer!! It’s because of you my family was able to vacation in Hawaii this past summer, and the memories will last a lifetime. Thank you for ALL of your help!!

  2. Happy Thanksgiving to MP and family, and the entire MP readers..
This morning, my family (plus extended family) and I attended the NYC Macy’s Day Parade. Not only did we have a great time, but we managed to be in a viewing area with US military (including many members of the Wounded Warrior Project) , law enforcement (NYPD, FBI) and FDNY and their families. “Talk about being thankful” for what we have and who we were able to share this day (not planned) with !!
Very thankful and super proud !!!!!

  3. Happy Thanksgiving! I’ve been reading your blog for over a year now and it is my absolute favorite. Thanks for all the great tips!
