  1. It has been available for maybe 12 hours. @Mommy Points – for those of us living in the polar vortex area looking for some quick/cheap warmth, do you have any suggestions? How is the Galveston Island area?

  2. Glad some of you got in as well! It was up starting late last night, but I was snoozing…things seem to disappear much quicker when folks wake up!

In terms of things to do here, good museums, yummy restaurants (The Points Guy just did a good post on Houston). Galveston is okay, not my favorite beach by any stretch, but better than the Polar Vortex. The Pleasure Pier there I hear is fun. The Houston Rodeo is starting up soon and that is a good time!

  3. Hi Mommypoints!! I live in Houston and have always wanted to meet you and talk all things points! Are you doing any mileage runs to DTW on a Saturday or Sunday? If so lets see if we are flying on the same day 🙂

  4. Nice find. I’m a day late and a dollar short. I found one RT in March, so that I could credit to US, but it disappeared as I was booking it. After that, I was hopeful maybe I could credit to A3 and get *A gold, but it books into “P” so no miles on A3. Still, a great find for those who need UA miles.

  5. Vivek, mine are all week days as it is easier while C is at school sadly. Hope to set up a Houston event soon(ish) though!
    Larry, boo, sorry you missed.

  6. Hi Mommypoints. Was able to book at trip for the family to Houston over Memorial Day weekend. Traveling with a three year old. Can you recommend areas to stay that would be close to kid’s activities?

  7. Best deal ever. My parents live in Houston and I work in Detroit and I just booked 10 tickets. In addition they’re coming up to visit me with the rest of my family in July a total of 18 tickets bought for a little over 2700 bucks…not a bad deal considering most were weekends. Was this a glitch or was it an actual sale?
