More Hotel Savings Via Travel Pony 10% Flash Sale!

One of my favorite hotel booking sites recently has been Travel Pony.  They have sometimes had rates much better than I was able to access on other sites – including directly from the hotel!  I have had no issues with the stays I have booked through them (two completed and two more future stays already booked).  I’ve also cancelled some stays that were refundable with no issues, so all in all I have no complaints!

Today they are making their often very low prices 10% lower to the first 1,000 who take advantage of their code FLASHPONY at checkout!  This will stack This used to stack with the $35 off they give new customers who are referred by a current member on reservations of $200 or more, but in trying to get my dad’s account set-up it doesn’t seem to currently stack.  However, you can still stack the 10% off code with using referral credits you have earned via referring others.  That is my referral link, you can feel free to leave your own referral code in the comments.

The downsides to TravelPony are that you can only book eight months out (though that’s not really a big deal), they have a limited number of hotel options in a limited number of cities, and you likely won’t get hotel points/stay credit due to booking via a third party site.  Their limited footprint isn’t super limited as I have booked hotels in small towns, but they aren’t going to have all the hotel options that a site like Travelocity will.  So far with my two stays I did get stay credit with Fairmont, but I did not at a Holiday Inn property.  I provided my rewards numbers to both, but it (rightfully) posted as a non-eligible stay with IHG.  The amount I saved on the bookings made them worth it, but it is something to factor in if the price difference is minimal, or if you really need the stay to go toward elite status.

I have already re-booked a reservation today for a lower price with the 10% off code, and encourage you to take a look as well!  Have you found some hotel savings on Travel Pony?
