If you have interest in flying Phoenix to/from Houston, San Francisco, or Salt Lake City then know that today only there are $19 fares offered by Frontier to celebrate these new routes.  Pro tip: new routes, especially on low cost carriers, often have very good introductory fares!

Frontier Deal

Tickets must be purchased by 11:59PM Eastern on September 17th (today) for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays December 2nd – January 27th (blackout dates apply).

Do keep in mind that Frontier is a carrier that charges extra for almost everything included seat assignments, carry-on bags, on-board drinks, etc.  That means if you are going to need to purchase any of those sort of things then factor that cost into the equation.

Being able to fly round trip from Houston to Phoenix for an out-the-door total of $36.50 is insane.  If you could get availability to line up, you could use this to position yourself to fly to Hawaii from Phoenix for just 25,000 British Airways Avios round trip on flights on partner US Airways.  British Airways uses a distance based chart and Phoenix – Honolulu just squeaks in at 12,500 Avios each way on the nonstop US Airways operated flight.

Frontier Sale

I see availability on December 6th to fly on US Airways operated flight from Phoenix – Honolulu for just 12,500 British Airway Avios.  You could positing to Phoenix very cheaply with this deal and then head to Hawaii to get two vacations in one!  For those of us in Houston, this may be one of the “cheapest” ways to get to Hawaii ever (outside of mistake fares).
