The number of shipping days left before Christmas is ticking away, so in case you still have a couple more purchases to make, here is a round-up of some of today’s increased shopping portal mileage payouts at various retailers.  I know I sound like a broken record sharing these deals, but it is such an easy way to rack up thousands of extra miles and way too many of us aren’t doing it because that extra click or two is “too much work”.

No, having to sit down and wrap the presents (or you know, actually having to pay for them) is the “work part”, ordering them is the easy part!

I even went on Fox and Friends the ungodly hour of 5:15AM on Saturday morning to try and spread the news about how to earn more points during holiday shopping.

Understandably, my bizarre facial expressions while speaking about something ‘exciting’ probably muddled the waters on the point I was trying to make, but in summary, just go to cashbackmonitor.com and look for the retailer you are interested in.  Find the best payout for the purchase you want to make and rack up airline miles (or cash back) with just a couple extra clicks.

  1. I have, but have been surprised and disappointed that only Southwest seems to be offering any bonus miles for reaching a certain amount of portal spend!

    • Journey4Happy, the screen shots are actually from my only friend up that early in the morning, Gary from View from the Wing. I haven’t even seen the segment myself, so will check that out. Thanks!

  2. I have! I especially like the increased payouts through the Barclay Reward Boost since there are no bonus categories for the Arrival card.

  3. I’ve recently gotten an email with that Alaska Shopping Portal deal you posted about earlier. Spend a mere $50 logged in with your Alaska member number, now thru Dec 22, and get 750 bonus Alaska miles, plus whatever bonus is offered for shopping at the individual store, plus the points from whatever cc you use.

My wife bought something from Antropologie, which was at 6X per $. So 750 bonus miles, plus 300 store category miles, plus 150 miles from the card she used. A total of 1200 miles for a $50 purchase she was going to do anyway. 🙂

Stacking all of that up is pretty sweet.
