If you have the US Bank FlexPerks Visa Signature there is not only a new way you can redeem your points, but (more importantly) there is a way to earn 500 quick and free points.

Real Time Rewards FlexPoints

Those who enroll for the new “Real Time Rewards” redemption option can earn 500 free points just for enrolling. The new rewards redemption option will allow you to get texts to your phone to redeem points for purchases ‘instantly’. I prefer to use my FlexPoints for airfare at up to 2 cents in value per point (I’m guessing these instant redemptions will only be for 1 cent per point), but the point of this post isn’t really to encourage instant redemptions but rather to earn the free 500 points.

To earn the 500 points:

Log into your US Bank FlexPerks Account

Go to My Rewards

Click on Redeem Rewards

Select Offers

Activate Real Time Rewards – you will need your credit card and cell phone handy

You can set a really high minimum purchase or categories you would rarely utilize for purchases to be texted to your phone to avoid getting frequent unwanted texts. Enjoy your free points!
