Amex Offers are like money saving gifts from the sky that appear pretty regularly for Amex cardholders, but are still surprising and exciting as you never know when one can save you some real cash. Some Amex Offers are available to all Amex cardholders and some are only available to targeted accounts.

Save on Any Hotel Stay with New Amex Offer

Today an Amex Offer has appeared that can save you up to 25% on any hotel in the world for many, but not all, Amex accounts. Even though it is targeted it is worth a mention since it is so incredibly useful for travelers.

There are two versions of this offer that I am aware of. The first offers a $25 statement credit when you spend $100 or more on hotel room charges when you pay for your hotel directly with an eligible merchant by 3/31/16. The second offers a $50 statement credit when you spend $250 or more on hotel charges directly with an eligible merchant by 3/31/16.

Sadly none of my Amex accounts had either of these offers available, but my mom had the $25 statement credit on $100 hotel charge offer available on two of her Amex cards. We were able to add the offer to both cards by opening to the offer in individual windows  for each account before adding it to either card.

Even better is that neither of her Amex cards including the Blue Cash Everyday® Card from American Express and The Amex EveryDaySM Credit Card carry annual fees, so this is legitimately free money for her since she has some eligible hotel stays planned during this time period anyway!

While your account may not have one of these offers available, I recommend taking a minute to look by logging in to your Amex online and scrolling down to the Amex Offers and Benefits section for each individual card account where you may find this and dozens of other Amex Offers available to be added to your card accounts. If the offers are there I recommend adding them today as these offers can disappear once the max number of registrations occur.

If my parents make use of both of the $25 offers available to them this will save them $50 on an upcoming trip, and that is not an insignificant amount of money! Did you have either offer available?

For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you will not receive the statement credit if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party or if the merchant uses a mobile or wireless card reader to process it. By adding an offer to a Card, you agree that American Express may send you communications about the offer. POID: BYPI:0001

  1. I was trying to think of a way to stack this offer, but the terms seem a bit restrictive, with no OTA’s, or anything like that. Do you have any ideas?

    • Christian, you should be able to stack with any bonuses the individual chains/properties may offer, but I can’t think off-hand how to stack beyond that.
