Good New Amex Offers This Morning!

Amex Offers are a great way to save money or earn extra points on purchases you make with your Amex cards. You never know when good Amex Offers will pop up on one of your Amex card accounts. The only sure-fire way to know exactly what offers are available to you is to log-in to your online Amex account and take a look (process outlined below), but to save you a little time I want to highlight a few new Amex Offers that are available on many cards at Hampton Inn, Saks Fifth Avenue, and more.

How Amex Offers Work:

For those not familiar, Amex Offers are available on your various American Express cards, even those with no annual fee such as The Amex EveryDaySMCredit Card and The Blue for Business® Credit Card from American Express. You must load the individual offers you are interested in to your card(s) and then use that card for the purchase to trigger the associated bonus points or statement credit.

Once you load the offer to your card you don’t need any coupons or codes at checkout, and you can stack the savings with any other sales or coupons you may have for your purchases with various retailers. You can add the offers to your Amex cards in your online Amex account by logging in and then scrolling down to where the offers are listed.

If you want to add an offer to more than one Amex card you need to have it loaded and ready to add to each individual Amex card in separate windows before adding it to any card. If you don’t, you will only be able to add it to one card. Sometimes you can also tweet a certain hashtag if you have synched your Amex for the Twitter offers. You can view some of the offers available on Twitter here. The offers I share not necessarily available to every Amex card or account, so the ones you have access to may vary.

Saks Fifth Avenue routinely pays out pretty well via some of the airline mileage portals and cash back sites, so don’t forget to stack that earning/savings with this Amex Offer. As soon as I saw this offer I knew some would want to try and make money on reselling these gift cards, and sure enough Deals We Like has outlined some of that process here…though it is not without some risk.

Happy shopping and savings!

  1. Regarding the Hampton/HGI offer, the offer says book directly with Hampton.com or Hilton Garden Inn.com, but does that mean you can’t book on the general Hilton Honors site and get the offer? I have an existing HGI reservation that has gone way up in price so I can’t rebook. Any clarification would help

    • I’m 99.99% sure that what it means is simply that you book directly via a Hilton channel so you are charged by the hotel and not via Priceline or Expedia or similar. I would not worry if it were me if your situation.
