Get in Free to 175 Museums and More Around the Country This Weekend!

It’s the first full weekend of the month, so that means you can get in for free to over 175 museums, children’s museums, zoos, gardens, and more if you have a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch credit or debit card in your name.  My family has used this perk to get in free to the awesome Newseum in DC, the Anchorage Museum in Alaska, the Houston Zoo (no longer participating), and several popular museums in New York City. You can view a full list of 2017 participating Museums on Us locations here. Buying tickets to these attractions can easily be more than $20 each, so getting in free with a Bank of America card is a serious no brainer.

To take advantage of this really solid offer just bring your Bank of America issued credit or debit card (the Alaska Airlines card is a pretty popular one in the miles and points world), your photo ID, and enjoy your free ticket!  You may still have to buy the kids’ tickets if they don’t yet have their own credit or debit card, but it is a big savings over having to buy tickets for everyone, and of course kids under a certain age often get in free to museums, zoos, etc.

Where does your family use the Bank of America Museums on Us perk?

  1. I didn’t know about this, thank you for posting! I somewhat recently got the new Amtrak Guest Rewards card which is issued by BoA so I will try to do this next month. Do you know if my spouse can get in free if they are an authorized user on my account, with their own card? Or is it only one free admission per account?
