Today is the final day of this year’s Daily Getaways offering, and it brings a really cool offering in the form of Hyatt points you can purchase from just over a penny each. I routinely redeem Hyatt points for close to 2 cents each, so I would be happy to snag one of these packages, but the problem with this deal is there aren’t nearly enough packages to go around to meet demand. This means if you want a shot, you have to be ready to go exactly at 1PM Eastern when they go on sale…and you have to get a bit lucky.

The Hyatt offers available include:

  • 24,000 Hyatt points for $260 – 120 available
  • 40,000Hyatt points for $415 – 30 available
  • 72,000 Hyatt points for $775 – 25 available

I have my fingers crossed for you if you try for one of these packages today – I probably won’t be online right at 1PM Eastern to even try, so my streak of never being successful at getting these points will likely continue for at least one more year. If you do snag some let me know so I can give you a virtual high five!

  1. I had a page bookmarked that showed me how many points were needed for each Hyatt stay (which hotels were in which category). Now that they switched to World of Hyatt, the link no longer works and I can’t find a page like this. Do you know where I might find this?

  2. Nevermind………my mistake……..didn’t realize that you got the points deposited vs. having to use them towards just what was stated!..Bummer!……
