I love it when the elite status you may have in one program can be leveraged for status in other programs via status matches or challenges. Now there is a new and pretty cool opportunity to do just that thanks to a partnership between Wyndham Rewards and the Caesars Entertainment Total Rewards program. Thanks to this new partnership you can now match your Wyndham Rewards and Total Rewards elite status levels to each program, and later this summer you will also have the ability to transfer up to 30,000 points per year between programs to book awards stays. For those not familiar, Wyndham Rewards has a very interesting award chart in that all hotel rooms are just 15,000 points per night!

The elite status match between the two programs will match at the Platinum to Platinum level and the Diamond to Diamond level. Those with top tier Total Rewards Seven Stars members can match to Wyndham Rewards Diamond. The status match expires on December 31 of the calendar year in which you obtain it.

Here’s a sampling of the published elite benefits of these two programs:

If you don’t have status in either program quite yet, remember you can get Wyndham Platinum status via their co-branded credit card, which would now also match to Total Rewards Platinum and score you free parking in Vegas at places like Caesars, Harrahs, Planet Hollywood, and more! You can also get Total Rewards Diamond status via the Founders Card, but there are some real costs associated with that route so you would want to be sure you will get your money’s worth in perks.

Were you able to match your Wyndham and Total Rewards status levels today?
