When I played around with this one, as a new customer it also provided free shipping and took $34.47 off the total, dropping the price to $45.45 for the first order of two meals for four people (two adults, two children). That’s not terrible for the quality and convenience this seems to provide (though I haven’t tried it out yet), but to hit the $70+ for the 3,000 Membership Reward points you will need to at least order a second week’s worth of meals and that won’t be discounted, unless of course you factor in the Membership Rewards points you are earning.

I’m a Blue Apron fan on occasion, so I may give this similar service a try at least for two weeks to mix things up at some point. At $85 for future weeks, I can’t see myself continuing this long term unless it also comes with a chef who cooks and/or cleans up the meals for me.

Spend $100+, get 2,500 Bonus Membership Reward Points on Event Tickets at TicketGalaxy.com

Get 2,500 additional Membership Rewards points one-time by using your enrolled Card to spend a minimum of $100+ in one or more eligible transactions online at www.ticketgalaxy.com by 9/22/2017. See terms for exclusions.

I saw sporting event tickets, Broadway shows, and more available on this site. The MLB baseball tickets I saw seemed to start at around $13 each so there may be some decent deals if you poke around.

Spend $50+ on Hulu, Get $50 Statement Credit

Enroll your eligible Card by 9/23/17 and spend a total of $50+ at hulu.com/start/amex by 5/23/18 to receive a 1X $50 statement credit. Eligible purchase must be completed by 5/23/18. See terms for exclusions.

This seems to be in lieu of the normal new customer free trial period, so do the math to make sure you are getting the best offer for your situation.

Are any of the recent Amex Offers saving your family some money or earning you some bonus Membership Reward points?

  1. Ah….This answers a question I posted to you yesterday about the Boxed.com offer. I’m new to American Express (mostly use Chase cards because I love UR points!) and I thought this Amex offer came to you only via an email. I logged into my Amex Hilton Honors card account and there are all the offers below the main page….now I know how to navigate and find them. Bought $83 worth of groceries for $31 after you factor in the Topcashback.com portal. That’s why I like these kinds of articles I find on your blog!

      • Yes, my new blue business plus only has one offer so far and I have had it a couple of weeks. I am not sure why this is happening when my other cards have LOTS of offers. Lets just hope this increases.

          • MP – I used your link for the card, and was approved. So far I do not think they pulled my personal credit report. This is my first business card, but I’ve had the EDP for 2 years.

          • Max, thank you for the support! That would be weird for them to not look at your credit report, but I’m thrilled to hear you got approved!
