This weekend the British Airways Avios eStore is offering double Avios at many retailers, and this takes the point totals up to some pretty noteworthy amounts at some popular retailers. Note that the US and UK British Airways shopping sites have different payouts, though of course most of the time you will probably want to order from the site for your country otherwise you may get into currency and shipping issues, though that may not always be a barrier.

You can toggle back and forth between the UK and the US sites pretty easily as outlined below.

These increased payouts are valid from October 5 – October 8, 2017, and I’ll outline a few of the examples that jumped out at me below.

Examples of British Airwards Avios eStore Payouts – US Site

  • 4x Apple
  • 12x Neiman Marcus
  • 12x Bergdorf Goodman
  • 8x Walmart
  • 12x Pottery Barn
  • 14x Overstock.com
  • 24x Kiehl’s
  • 20x 1-800-Pet-Meds

For those not familiar, anything over 2x at Apple and Walmart is very good and pretty unusual. Also if you made a purchase at Walmart.com or an eligible department store such as Neiman Marcus for 12x Avios per dollar, you could also pay with your Chase Freedom and earn an additional 5x points from it for your 4th quarter bonus.

Examples of British Airwards Avios eStore Payouts – UK Site

  • 8x Apple UK
  • 14x Gap UK
  • 20x Addidas UK
  • 16x Harrods

Remember that you can use your British Airways Avios to fly on their partners such as Alaska, American, and more from just 7,500 points for an award flight, so keep this promotion in mind even if you don’t typically fly British Airways!
