After a several month hiatus, a new Hyatt bonus points promotion is launching effective today, November 15, 2017! World of Hyatt members who register for the promotion will earn double points for eligible stays completed between November 15, 2017, and December 31, 2017.

Earn Double Hyatt Points Through the End of the Year

You must register for the new double points promotion by November 30, 2017, and eligible stays must be booked via or the World of Hyatt app to count for the promo. Earned Bonus Points will be posted to members’ World of Hyatt accounts within 2-3 weeks after completing the stay.

M life-Eligible Nights booked on or the Hyatt app are eligible for this double base points offer. Only the room occupied by the member will count toward this offer and you must choose to earn points for each stay to earn the double bonus points.

This means that instead of earning the normal 5 Hyatt points per dollar spent on Hyatt hotel stays you will earn 10 Hyatt points per dollar before any applicable elite bonuses. Of course, a double points promotion isn’t show stopping, but considering how long it has been since we have any Hyatt bonus points promo, I’ll take it.

Experience a Week of Wellbeing at Exhale from $30

In addition to the Hyatt double points promo, they are also announcing today that from November 15 through February 28, 2018, World of Hyatt members who are new exhale guests can enjoy a Week of Wellbeing, which, at $30 for a one-week package, includes unlimited fitness classes, 20% off spa therapies, and 10% off wellbeing boutique purchases. That isn’t a bad price if you will be able to take several yoga, barre, or cardio classes that week.

Proof of World of Hyatt membership must be presented upon check-in to take advantage of this offer, which is valid at participating exhale locations with a spa, including Atlanta Midtown, Boston Battery Wharf, Boston Back Bay, Dallas, Miami Downtown, Miami Bal Harbour, Miami South Beach. The New York Flatiron exhale is separately offering World of Hyatt members who are new exhale guests a Week of Wellbeing one-week package for $40, which includes unlimited fitness classes and 10% off wellbeing boutique purchases.

In addition to a Week of Wellbeing, exhale is also offering $10 off a fitness class and/or $25 off a 60 or 90-minute spa therapy at participating exhale locations through February 28, 2018. This offer is available with a valid voucher code, which can be found on the promotion landing page (or shown below) and must be mentioned upon check-in to take advantage.

Since the registration window is pretty tight, I recommend registering for the new Hyatt double points promotion now, and keep the exhale offers in mind if you will be near one of the participating locations and are interested in such things.

      • Thanks. I actually have a bunch of nights next week already booked at two separate Hyatts north of the ATL. It’ll also push me to 30 nights. Explorist again, I assume.
Double points? Sure, I’ll take em…

  1. Hold the phone everyone!
You have to book the DBL point RATE to get the DBL points. So you can’t leave your old reservations intact as they weren’t booked at the DBL point rate.
I’m going to pass on this. My stay that I have coming up would cost me an additional $34 (per night) to get the extra points. Those extra points end up costing .03 per point. No thanks.

  2. Ugh. Patrick is right. This rate is trash. Almost 20% higher than rate currently booked. What a lousy promotion. No thanks Hyatt. Kinda shameful.

    • Reminds me of when AA tries to sell you additional miles when you book a flight. do the math and you’ll see the rate is not good on a per point basis.

      • You totally do not have to book the double points rate to get double points with this promo. Those double points rates are pretty much always there as a way non-price-sensitive business travelers or similar can book a higher rate on their company’s dime to get more points for themselves. For this promo, you just need to register and book your stay like normal directly with Hyatt.

        • Are you sure? Like you, I usually see the Double points rate offered. It just seems a bit confusing given the current promo and this particular rate.
          Thanks MP.

          • I’m sure. Hyatt already did a double points promo just like this earlier in the year and that one also did not require a special rate.

  3. My bad!! :-O
What is the difference between the Double Your Points rate and the double points offer?

The Double Your Points rate is available at participating Hyatt hotels and resorts, where you receive double points when paying that rate.

This Double Points offer is a promotion valid for a limited time awarding double points when you register for the promotion and complete an Eligible Stay, during the promotion period of November 15, 2017 through December 31, 2017. Only Base Points are doubled under this offer. Additional Bonus Points obtained under the Double Your Points rate are not doubled under this offer.
