While watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade this morning I knocked out some of our holiday shopping online, and I thought I would share with you some of my favorite Black Friday deals that I came across outside of the travel world that are available now.
Of course, with almost all of these offers, you can still stack these savings with going through an airline shopping portal to earn miles and also use an Amex Offer if you happen to have a relevant Amex Offer available on one of your Amex cards.
You can get a $75 Saks Fifth Avenue e-gift card with a $150 purchase today, and while there are a few exclusions, most items seem eligible, including sale items. You need to use the code BLKFRI17 to get the $75 e-gift card and then FREESHIP should get you free shipping. You seem to be able to use e-gift card coupon more than once.
Amazon.com Save $5 on Printed Books With Code GIFTBOOK17
You can never go wrong with a good book!
Amazon.com $100 App Stores or iTunes Gift Card for $85 with Code ITUNES15
I hope to see more Amazon gift card offers pop up today and tomorrow, but for now, that is the only one I see.
Discounted DVD/Blu Rays/Digital Copy Movies Available via Best Buy Including:
- Moana $7.99
- Wonder Woman $6.99
- The Peanuts Movie $5.99
Remember that if you use Chase Pay on eligible Chase cards in-store at Best Buy you can earn 10x points.
Dead – $10 off a $20 purchase on eBay using PayPal checkout with code PBLACKF17 – Dead
Works on gift cards such as:
- $25 Macy’s e-gift card for $15
- $20 eBay Gift Card for $10
- $25 Best Buy Gift Card for $15
- $25 Southwest e-gift card for $15
However, the discount code seems to be working sporadically as in they let it work for 5-10 minutes and then kill it for an hour or so, so decide for yourself if this is worth the effort. I have not gotten this one to work myself. This SlickDeals thread is a good one to watch if you want in on this deal.
This one may not be a doorbuster and isn’t valid on all items, but I picked up a few high-quality basics I’ve been eyeing in the next size for the girls at 20% off the sale price. Think lots of items from Mini Boden, Treasure and Bond, Tucker & Tate, Peek, Tea Collection, Nike, Hudson, and more in the $13 – $15 range for shirts and $18 – $23 for pants and jeans. Of course, adult items can be found at a discount, too!

This is a small deal, but a popular one each year. Only one eSlice of Joy Card may be redeemed per guest per visit.
I’ll keep updating this as I run across family-friendly Black Friday travel deals!
