Parking fees are the new resort fees in Las Vegas, and if you have read any of our posts on the topic, you know that we think Las Vegas parking fees pretty much stink. I’ve shared a few ways around the parking fees at the Mlife and Caesar’s family of properties, but those tips involved planning, strategy, credit cards, or elite status. What if you just want a totally free place to park your car on the Las Vegas Strip without sign-up, linking, or planning anything? I can help with that, too.

But first, know that the line-up of places that offer free parking on the Las Vegas Strip is ever-changing, so I highly recommend you double-check this info at the included links below before you hop in your car, as fees in Las Vegas can and do change quickly.

Heading from North to South, as of March 2018, here are six places that still offer free parking on the Las Vegas Strip:

North Strip

SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino

Complimentary self-parking. Also, check out our review staying of the SLS using SPG points!

SLS Las Vegas

Fashion Show Mall

Okay, this one isn’t a hotel, but the Fashion Show Mall is within a pretty easy walking distance to hotels such as Wynn, Encore, Mirage, and more and it offers free valet and self-parking.

Mid Strip

Palazzo and Venetian

Complimentary valet parking and self-parking.

Treasure Island

Complimentary valet parking and self-parking.

South Strip

Planet Hollywood

Free self-parking, valet parking starts at $15.

Tropicana

Complimentary valet parking and self-parking.

With parking fees approaching $20 per night at some Strip resorts, it is handy to know where you can still self-park, or in some cases, even valet park your car without emptying your wallet. Free parking on the Las Vegas Strip is becoming a relic of the past along with the sound of quarters clanking out of a slot machine and endless cheap buffets. Where is your favorite spot to park for free in Sin City?

Travel more for less with these available credit cards and their bonuses.

  1. is it free for non-guests as well? I take it Fashion Mall is good only till they close up for the night so its a day spot rather then a night spot

If ist free for everyone then I guess TI and PH wil be the best locations for Mid Strip access

    Thx for the info

    • From what I understand, it is free for overnight guests as well as casino visitors. As for the Fashion Mall, it is Vegas, so I’m sure some folks have left cars there overnight, but I don’t think that would be my own personal plan.

      • Hi! I am a local in Vegas and have some good information on the parking at Fashion Valley Mall. The lot is open until the Mall closes. Once closed, there is a time period for people to get to their vehicles and leave the lot. After that, this is a secured lot and any vehicle is subject to tow. Security does patrol those lots and they are efficient. There is also signage at the main entrance way detailing the open hours.

  3. I hope everyone quit patronizing the casinos that charge for parking, hey should validate your parking ticket if you are eating or shopping one of their business’s. Just like resort fee’s, they are also a joke !!! It’s just another way to jack up the fee’s for staying with them, they are just trying to make it look cheaper to with them until they nail you with their resort fee.
Some of the hotels even charge you a resort fee when your room is comped. I always stay off the strip because hotels off the strip appreciate the business. If everyone complains about the parking fee’s and resort fee’s they would remove them and go back to the good old days, before they all got greedy !!!!!!

  4. SLS is the best. Free parking and then hop on the monorail right there with a 1 day pass ($13) and it will bring you everywhere

  5. Tropicana says on their website that parking is free if you pay the resort fee. Anotherwords, free parking for hotel guests only.

  6. Circus Circus says on their website that only the first hour is free! You have to watch out for all these hooks.

  7. M life resorts are greedy and we will not gamble in their casinos anymore. We also will only stay at the independent casinos that DON’T charge for parking. This resort fee business is also a joke. Greed gets you nothing. Hooray for to: planet Hollywood and all the sun coasters properties.
